Emily Mumbi Muriguh, is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, a Patent Agent (KIPI), an IP Agent (ARIPO) and a Certified Mediator and a Professional Legal Auditor. She is the Managing Partner at Desire Njamwea Legal Associates and recently appointed CEO of Democracy and Legal Aid Center (DLAC). The Democracy and Legal Aid Center (DLAC) is an NGO that promotes the rule of law by advocating for the protection of human rights and advancing democracy through provision of accessible Legal Aid and Education to the vulnerable members of the community.

She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of law, a Bachelor of Laws Degree from Moi University, Masters in Business Administration – Corporate Management and currently pursuing Masters in Law (LLM) – Corporate and International Tax Law
