The firm’s expertise  in   constitutional and administrative law is based on our constitutional and human rights  law practice group which was established and is continuously developed and shepherded by the founding partner of the firm.

Our activities before the constitutional Court range from lodging constitutional complaints, to initiating proceedings reviewing the constitutionality of laws, to proceedings dealing with organization of the State, advising on conflicts between the different organs of the State at the County and National level, or between the National and County Governments, Advising on the issues of devolution of functions, powers, and state obligations of each level of government on the one hand  and  organs  of  government at each level of government on the other including county legislative assemblies.

The founding partner having a strong conviction on social justice has seen the firm offer advise and litigation services to indigent members of the society whose human rights and freedoms have been violated by the state. The firm regularly reviews laws and policies to ensure that they are compliant with the human rights standards laid out in our constitution.

The firm uses the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights to advise and train its clientele of none state actors being small, medium business enterprises and multinationals on how to be compliant with the Kenyan human rights standards.

The firm’s approach is to always understand our clients’ business problems before resorting to our expertise in international and local arbitration procedures, ADR mechanisms including mediation and litigation to resolve constitutional, administrative and human rights issues.
